Step 4)Next create a new layer named “strokes.” Set your brush to 2px with a white foreground and take your pen tool following select areas of your logo, stroke the path with your brush making sure you select “simulate pressure.” In your “strokes” layer add an outer glow.

With this done, make some random selections with either your pen tool or your lasso tool in the areas which you lightened with your dodge tool and create levels, lightly erasing them with a soft erraser. Once again experiment until your happy with the outcome.

Step 5) Make a new layer and name it “shine” make a square and fill it with black. Select this layer and choose: Filter – Render — Lens Flare — Lens Type: 105mm and make sure to center it on your square. Erase all the the black and set your layer’s blend mode to Linear light. Place the layer on one of your stokes and smudge it to follow the contour of your logo. Experiment until your happy with the outcome. To easily add a shadow, make a new layer place it under your base layer and brush black erasing any excess and until you have the desired effect.
